Jack Armstrong paints in a style similar to (and is inspired by) the famous Scottish landscape painter, James MacIntosh Patrick, who paints the natural beauty of Scotland. As well, Jack gets inspiration from the Canadian landscape and heritage artist James Lorimer Keirstead. |
One of Jack's paintings was offered as a door prize at this year's
Art in the Park. It was done in acrylic and was
composed from memory of different scenes north of Batchewana in
Northern Ontario.
